TOKEN HOLDER UPDATE

Below is an update for existing token holders regarding the ODL token and the efforts and challenges encountered to take ownership of the token and contract.

As a pretext, this update addresses the subset of members that have invested via Neel and purchased ODL tokens, we are aware that some of these users are looking to exit and no longer wish to support the project, in turn, looking to sell back their tokens. As discussed previously, we have been working to bring on new investors to purchase back the token holdings from users.

As part of this process, we have spent time investigating the possibility of taking ownership of the smart contract with which the tokens have been deployed and issued. We have been in communication with Neel who holds ownership of the wallet used to deploy the tokens to take control so that we can migrate the contract to a new OODLE development wallet.

Neel, as the holder of the wallet has refused to relinquish control and provide the private seed phrase to the original wallet, stating they have personal vesting in other projects linked to that wallet.

Whilst OODLE do not condone using the same wallet for Company development and personal use, this is unfortunately the situation that we currently face. There have also been comments that he is under the impression that OODLE is seeking to gain access to his wallet to gain control of their existing holdings (which at the time of this writing only holds ~0.42 ETH @ $778). We can assure you that is not the intention, our efforts are only for gaining control of the ODL token and contract in the interest of the business and token holders.

Our next approach was to work with Neel to migrate the contract from his existing wallet to a new OODLE development wallet. However, when investigating, it has become clear that not only has the ODL smart contract not been verified on Etherscan, meaning that the deployed contract has not been validated against the original code, but also, the contact was deployed without the ownable.sol contract. This means that the existing ODL token contract cannot be safely migrated from the existing master wallet to another, for avoidance of doubt, from the beginning Neel was the one in control of the Wallet, deployment of the contract and issuance of tokens.

With the current state of affairs, and after speaking at length with potential investors and legal teams, we have come to the conclusion that taking control of the current ODL token is not a viable option as the current and only master wallet is not within our control and the seed phrase is known to an external entity to the business. As such we have taken the decision to no longer continue with the ODL token but deploy a new token for the OODLE ecosystem.

The new token will be deployed using a company development wallet, which will be in control of the existing OODLE team, the contract will be deployed to best practices. OODLE will then Airdrop tokens to all holders of the previous ODL token. As the current OODLE team has never been in control of the ODL contract wallet, we will be airdropping tokens based on a snapshot of holdings from the beginning of February 2023, this is done in order to prevent any nefarious activities and issuance of additional tokens to individuals. Once the new tokens have been airdropped and investors are comfortable with acquiring these new tokens, we will work with our new investors to submit proposals to individuals who have registered interest to sell.
